The Yamaha Banshee has become something of a legend. As the industry’s only production twin-cylinder, two-stroke ATV, it’s unique and this individuality has many devoted supporters. What makes them so enthusiastic? Well, the Banshee’s famous twin-cylinder two-stroke engine provides the exhilarating power and acceleration ATV loyalists crave.
A manual clutch and close-ratio six-speed transmission combined with the 347cc liquid-cooled engine, twin 26mm Mikuni carburettors and dual exhaust make the Banshee one of the fastest-accelerating ATVs on earth. Helping the Banshee tackle tough terrain are the independent double A-arm front suspension and single-shock swing-arm in the rear, providing 229 mm of front and 221 mm of rear travel.
A rigid, lightweight frame design harnesses this muscle while adding to the machine's power-to-weight dominance and superior handling. Hydraulic dual front discs and a single rear disc provide plenty of high-performance stopping power. The legend lives on!
